Recreational FIELDTRIPS

OMEGA GYMNASTICS ACADEMY FIELDTRIP INFORMATION

Omega Gymnastics allows groups to use our facility for gymnastics. All fieldtrips are supervised and instructed by fully qualified coaches.

Weekday mornings during the school year, from September to June, are open for fieldtrips.

Cost of fieldtrips are:

$5.00 per student for one hour
$8.00 per student for two hours

If a school or user group wishes to book more than twice, a Gymnastics British Columbia Recreation Membership is then required for the cost of $35.00. This is a year to year membership from September which is payable to GBC. Forms are available from Omega upon booking. This membership entitles a school or group to participate at any facility that is a member of GBC that offers programs for students.

Bookings must be made at least 10 days in advance in order to secure the spot and the coaches. Cancellation must be made no later than 24 hours notice. There is one coach for every 10-12 students, 2 coaches for 20, and 3 coaches for larger groups. Teachers may be requested to assist the coaches as necessary.

Omega expects the teachers will inform their students that our gym and equipment need to be treated with respect and care. It is imperative they abide by the rules set forth by the coaches. There are to be no food or drinks brought out onto the gym floor. Any mess made by a group is responsible to clean up after themselves before leaving the building.
