Omega Gymnastic Academy is a parent-operated, non-profit society whose purpose is to provide public recreational and competitive gymnastics programs in the Tri-Cities area and surrounding communities. In 1981, the Coquitlam Gymnastics Club joined the Ethics Gymnastic Academy to form Omega Gymnastic Academy. Omega was incorporated as a society in June of 1982. Currently, we offer a full range of recreational programs. Hourly programs offered promote fun, fitness, and gymnastics fundamentals. In addition to the recreational programs, we currently run competitive programs which focus on the training and development of athletes who aspire to increase skill levels.

Mission Statement

Omega Gymnastics is a community based service providing girls' programs for the recreational and competitive gymnast for the enjoyment of its members, with the goal of giving each athlete the opportunity to become the best gymnast she can become.

Objectives

To promote the growth and development of recreational and competitive gymnastics, ranging from beginner to the national level through a quality program which emphasizes enjoyment of the sport of activity.
To make available to all members, instruction of a high and consistent caliber and to ensure that all member gymnasts are afforded fair treatment and equal opportunity.
To provide a safe environment for children to develop in the sport of gymnastics.
To promote the guidelines of the National Coaching Certification program.
To promote goodwill among and between the members, gymnasts and professionals at all times.
